Tony Stewart passed Gordon for the lead on lap 432 and held off a hard charging but badly beaten Kevin Harvick to claim the victory at the Sharpie 500 on Saturday evening. If you got a chance to watch the race, it was everything Bristol always is, a bash fest from start to finish. Congratulations to Tony Stewart on his first 500 mile victory. The race was finished off on the final lap when Rudd bumped Rusty Wallace to the side on the final turns, and then Wallace's "Brakes Went Out" and he "Cound't Get Slowed" before running into the back of Rudd entering the first turn on the cool down lap. The little tap sent Rudd spinning and the cars behind, including a spinning Dale Jarrett, scrambling to avoid the incident.

I've gone and updated the entire IROC at INDY set tonight. Sorry to all that have already downloaded it, a few things were just really bugging me. I updated the file at roughly 12:00 am EDT for anyone interested, you will be able to see if you have the most updated, as the files are dated 8/13/01. I greatly improved the lettering slant on the doors as well as made the black striping area much more accurate to the real thing. I actually now have that as close to the real thing as the rest of the car. I only too the one screen shot to the left, you can check it out to see what I mean. Hope you enjoy, and please, download all you want, bandwidth is no longer an issue ;-)!!!
